Vall de Núria is preparing for a December long weekend full of activities for all ages, especially for children. From 6 to 8 December, the resort will organize all kinds of activities for children, who will have their space in the resort's Leisure Park, which will open with activities such as tubbing, climbing wall, zip line or balance games at height. Children will also have the option of having a taste of Christmas with the itineraries and games of "La Vall dels Tions", which are spread throughout the resort.
Among the proposals that can be made these days in December, the outings along the walking paths stand out, such as the tour of the lake or the Creu d'en Riba, the route of the historical bridges, which consists of traveling a small itinerary of four old bridges that were already used in the past, or the tour of the lake. On Friday 6, the station will also open, together with the Ter and Freser Headwaters Natural Park, a new welcome area with an information point at the arrival of the Rack Railway. In this new facility, visitors will find detailed information on all the activities and hiking routes that can be done there.
At the same time, you can also visit various and interesting exhibitions, such as “90 years of history. The Núria Rack Railway”, located at the Ribes Vila station, “Memories of Snow”; “The Valley of the 5 elements” and “The Mountains of the TMFF comic”.
Vall de Núria is known for being a pilgrimage destination, an ideal space for organizing retreats and days of meditation and prayer. People who visit the Valley will be able to access the Basilica, visit the Hermitage of Sant Gil and the Stations of the Cross.

Regarding the events, a night experience with the Montsec Astronomical Park will be organized on the 7th. The activity will consist of a first part of recognizing the sky with the naked eye, in which the most important constellations and stars will be identified. The second part will be an observation of the most prominent objects of the night through a telescope. Planets, stars and more distant objects can be included in this visual astronomical menu. On Saturday and Sunday, visitors will be able to enjoy a hot chocolate at 11:30 a.m. next to the resort's Leisure Park.
