The Vall de Núria ski and mountain resort, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), will offer the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience for the first time on Saturday, February 8: flying over the resort and its surroundings from a bird's eye view in a hot air balloon. This activity is the prelude to the second Charity Dinner, which will be held on the same day, and which this year is intended to raise funds for people affected by DANA. With these activities, Vall de Núria is consolidating itself as a destination for unique experiences in the mountains.

On Saturday morning, the balloons will take off, offering participants an unparalleled perspective of the Sanctuary of the Mare de Déu de Núria, Puigmal, Pic de l'Àliga and other emblematic peaks of the Catalan Pyrenees.

The flight, which will last approximately two hours, will include a picnic bag, a toast with cava, a flight certificate and a photo report.

This initiative, organized in collaboration with the Kon-Tiki company, aims to deseasonalize the leisure offer in the valley, contributing to the economic engine for the territory, as well as promoting tourism in a sustainable way. Tickets for this experience are now on sale here.

On Saturday night, the El Racó de la Vall restaurant will host a charity dinner with the aim of raising funds for those affected by DANA. Prepared by the Hotel Vall de Núria, the Aula d'Hostaleria del Ripollès and the Institut Abat Oliba with the collaboration of FGC, the Ripollès Regional Council, the Ripollès Development Agency, the Ripollès Hospitality Association and the Ripollès Product Association, a tasting menu with local and seasonal products will be offered.

The profits obtained will be entirely allocated to help people affected by the floods. In addition, a "zero line" has been set up for those who want to collaborate without attending the dinner.
